ประโยคแรก คำที่อยู่ในวงเล็บคือ high นักศึกษาต้องเปลี่ยนคำนี้ให้อยู่ในรูปขั้นสุดคือ the highest เนื่อง

จากว่า วลี one of + adjective + คำนามพหูพจน์ คำ adjective ที่เป็นการเปรียบเทียบในบริบทนี้จะ

ต้องอยู่ในรูป การเปรียบเทียบขั้นสุดเท่านั้น ส่วนข้ออื่นไม่ยากเพราะถ้ามี than หลัง adjective ตัว

adjective ตัวนั้น ก็เป็นการเปรียบเทียบขั้นกว่า  และ ถ้า มี as ตามหลัง adjective คำ adjective ตัวนั้นก็

จากว่า ในประโยคนี้ จะใช้เปรียบเทียบขั้นกว่า( easier) หรือ เปรียบเที่ยบเท่ากันไม่ได้ ( as easy as)

เพราะไม่มี than หรือ as หลัง คำ easy  และประโยคสุดท้ายก็เหตุผลเหมือนกัน ต้องเป็นขั้นสุดเท่านั้น

คือ the best medicine (ขั้นสุดของ adjective 'good' คือ best เพราะไม่มี than หรือ ว่า as หลัง good.
